Telecommunications Engineering Technology Bachelor's Degree
This program is intended to build upon the electronics and lifelong course work completed by the student in previous undergraduate work and is designed to help students develop the knowledge and skills associated with many areas of telecommunications technology. The coursework includes the study of various subjects in telecommunications technology, such as data communications, telecommunications transport systems, data networks, fiber optic communications and wireless telecommunications.
Electronics Engineering Technology Bachelors Degree
The purpose of this program is to help graduates begin to prepare for careers in a variety of entry-level positions in various fields involving electronics engineering technology. This program includes electronics, science, mathematics and lifelong learning courses in the lower-division coursework and then expands upon this foundation through the study of subjects in the upper division such as circuit analysis, circuit design, computer programming, process control, advanced communications systems, calculus and further lifelong learning coursework.
Associate's Degree or Diploma in Computer and Electronics Engineering Technology
This program helps students begin to prepare for careers in a variety of entry-level positions in many fields of modern electronics and computer technology, such as aviation, communications, computers, consumer products, defense and research and development.
Computer Drafting and Design
Associate Degree or Diploma. Drafting is a graphic language used by industry to communicate ideas and plans from the creative-design stage through production. Computer drafting and design is one way to produce drawings in all traditional design and drafting fields. The goal of the Computer Drafting and Design program is to help the student acquire the skills to enter the workplace as a versatile draftsperson able to make basic design decisions and capable of meeting the challenges of future technological advances in the drafting and design profession.
Information Technology-Web Development
Associate Degree or Diploma. The Web Development discipline of IT helps students prepare to perform tasks associated with Web site creation, installation, security, update and maintenance.
